Students need to be able to start the computer and access the Internet.
Students will need to know how to click and drag the mouse.
Students need to be able to locate bookmarks.
Materials
- The plug-in Shockwave needs to be installed on each computer prior to beginning this lesson.
- Each computer needs to have headphones attached so students will be
able to hear the music.
- The following URL needs to be bookmarked on each computer:

Procedures
- Students start the computers and access the Internet.
- Tell the students to click on bookmarks.
- Students should find Arthur’s Music Box.
- Students need to click on Music Box.
- Students need to click on the PLAY button.
- As they listen to each song, they will be arranging the puzzle pieces from the left side of the screen to the right by dragging each piece with the mouse.
- When the puzzle is finished, students may continue to the next puzzle by clicking on NEXT SONG.
Assessment
The teacher will observe as students are putting the pieces of the puzzle together noticing if students need help dragging or placing the pieces in the correct position.
