Lesson Title:
Animal Maze
Academic:
- The student will read and follow directions utilizing The Davis Farmland web site to bring up a maze of an animal or flower.
- The student will print out the maze and complete it.
Technological:
- The student will use basic technology vocabulary when referring to computer hardware, software, printer, monitor, disk drives, mouse and keyboards.
- The student will be familiar with the keyboard, mouse, and control keys (return key).
Pre-Requisite Technology skills:
The student will need to know how:
- to turn on the computer
- locate and click on the netscape icon
- locate and type in the given URL in the location box.
- (The student will have mastery of lesson #1- Welcome to the Internet, created by L. L. Limon.)

Accommodations for Special Needs:
The lesson will be taught using ESL techniques including many visuals on the computer screen and on the worksheet for children whose dominant language is other than English.
