Objectives

Academic: Students will gain reading and oral language practice by reading and illustrating a poem and then reading it aloud.

Technological: Standard 1: Essential Technology Skills

Pre-Requisite Technology Skills: Before beginning this lesson, students should know how to find a bookmark in the toolbar and click on it to go to a website. In this particular lesson, students should click on the Trackstar bookmark, "Fabulous Frogs and Toads"-

Assessment: At Nash, student reading development is measured using the SFA assessments. Oral language development in students occurs over a long period of time. One measure I have used for oral language development is the Spectrum Assessment.
