Animals you can see at the Zoo
Objectives
Students will read the story "Animals You Can See at the Zoo".
Students will learn about Zoo animals and the sounds the animals
make.
Standard 1
Students will learn to turn on the computer. Students will learn
how to access the web via the netscape icon. Students will type
URL http://www.magickeys.com/books/index.html. Students will
scroll down to the Flamingo icon and click twice for the Zoo story.
Students will be able to click on the blue highlighted words to
hear the animal sounds. Students will be able to use the print
a copy of the zoo story.

PROCEDURES
As an extension of a zoo unit, students will use the computer internet site as an enrichment activity. Students will use Netscape icon to access the internet. Students will find the locator box and type in the URL http://www.magickeys.com/books/index.html for the storybook site. Students will scroll down until they see the Flamingo icon and click twice to view the story Animals You Can See at the Zoo. Students will read the story and click on the blue highlighted words to hear the animal sounds. Students will find the print icon at the top of the screen. Students will click twice on the icon and print a copy of the story. Students will exit the site by clicking on the corner x.
ASSESSMENT
Students will have successfully printed a copy of the story.
