Creating a File Second Stage
Academic Objective:
Students will be able to search the web with a purpose, searching for information on their research paper topic.
Technological Objective:
To become facile in entering a topic and to click on appropriate categories under that topic.
Pre-requisite Technology Skills/ Academic Preparation:
Students will be able to start the computer and to access the internet. The students will have chosen a topic through a class room activity. This activity will include getting facts, categorizing, analyzing, synthesizing and concluding (deciding on the research paper topic).
Materials :
Students will have basic information and questions about their topic.
Accommodations for Special needs:
During this process each student will have the help of a teacher (in a 1 to 1 or 1 to 2 situation).
Procedure:
The teacher will help the student read the information and ask questions directing the student to access the most refined information for their paper.
Assessment:
Student will have information about their topic from the internet down loaded on their personal floppy and a hard copy.
