Creating Math Sites and Worksheets
Academic Objective:
Students will create math work sheets and practice sites that compliments classroom work.
Technological Objective:
Students will use their web site search skills to access math web sites. Others will go to familiar sites to print math work sheets.
Pre-requisite Technology Skills/ Academic Preparation:
Students will be able to start the computer and to access the internet. They will be able to print the worksheets.
Materials :
Computers, printer, access to the internet
Accommodations for Special needs:
Students are familiar with the math vocabulary and processes. These students can follow the procedure with little or no help.
Procedure:
Students will be given a specific web site to begin their search. Some will be directed to find sites related to various math operations.
Assessment:
Student’s web site direction sheet and worksheets to be used by other students will be the product outcome and assessment of this lesson.
