"Fly With Me"

With a parent partner, each student will discover and write the differences between butterflies and moths.

With a parent partner, each student will discover and write the stages of the Butterfly/Moth Life Cycle.

Each parent/student partnership will gain an awareness of what the Internet is and how it can be used educationally.

Each parent/student partnership will perform procedures necessary to:

start up computer

open applications

enter URL’s

utilize tool bars

print

scroll

find "open page"

explore a virtual tour

3. Double Click on Netscape Communicator
4. Press Control (Ctrl) and "O" at the same time to get to Open Page
5. Type in Ms. Todd’s Home Page URL

8. Click on Children’s Butterfly Site *Be sure to check out Surprises along the way as you learn about butterflies and moths.
9. Scroll down to the green butterfly
10. Click on frequently asked questions

Answer these questions by clicking on them and reading the

information provided. Write your answers to the questions in

the spaces below.

1. Click on The Life Cycle of the Butterfly and Moth
2. Read the blue box V4 and click on it

14. Scroll down the page until you see Children’s Butterfly Site Home Page and click on it
1. Click on the coloring page
2. Choose one of the small black and white images that you would like to color. Click on the image and you will get larger image.
3. Go to File and Print a copy to color
4. Use the Back button - Click one time and Scroll down to Return to Children’s Butterfly Site Home Page.
5. Choose another site on the home page to explore
6. or (Press Control (Ctrl) and "O" at the same time to get to Open Page. Type one of these URL’s and have fun learning!!
